Hellenistic burial ground and artifacts were discovered in Alexandria

In 2018, an Egyptian archaeological mission led to the discovery of a Hellenistic cemetery in Alexandria and archaeological remains, including a tombstone or a collection of dishes and lamps.

The artifacts are engraved with scenes depicting the deities. The tombstone, in turn, is currently undergoing a renovation process due to its poor condition.

Objects have been found in the lands of Al-Abd, in the eastern part of the city.
