More than 5,000 Roman finds in Aylsham, England were discovered during one week of excavations in 2016.

Nearly 70 adults and children have participated in local excavations in Aylsham, England. Two pottery stoves, thousands of broken pots, late Roman coins and fragments of jewellery were found.

The entire excavation lasted a month and restoration works on the discovered objects are to be carried out throughout the next year. The most interesting finds will be on display at the Aylsham Heritage Center.
