Archaeologists found the remains of Roman houses in Colchester (south-east England). The houses had floor mosaics.
What’s more, scientists were able to discover various objects: bone dice or a stand for candles. The finds are dated to the second century CE. On the fragments of the preserved walls scientists are also able to see traces of paintings.
