During the repair of the sewage system in Rome, a Roman statue of Hercules was discovered in one of the parks. The object is probably 2000 years old.
The sculpture is a life-size marble statue that has been identified as Hercules because of its club and lion’s cloak.
The discovery took place at a depth of 20 meters, and the work was supervised by archaeologists, as is usually the case with earthworks in Rome.
