Tickets for next year’s Great Roman Games are on sale from mid-November. The event will take place, as usual, in Nîmes, on May 1, 2 and 3, 2020 in the authentic Roman arena, Arènes de Nîmes. The tickets can be bought here.
This time the theme is Caesar’s conquest of Gaul. As previous editions have proved, the show carried out under the watchful eye of experts is the best proof that historical reconstructions can be really exciting.
In addition, in the city itself, you can visit the magnificent Musée de la Romanitée, the perfectly preserved Temple of Diana, la Maison Carrée – the temple in honor of Gaius and Lucius – the son-in-law of the grandchildren of Octavian Augustus, and climb to la Tour Magne, the remains of a watchtower built on his initiative.
