Well-preserved Roman road discovered in England

In England, during construction work, a well-preserved fragment of a Roman road was found. According to the preliminary analysis of researchers, the monument maybe 2000 years old.

The discovery took place in the county of Worcestershire, in the west of England. The outdoor section is 10 meters long and approx. 3 meters wide. The exact location of the find has not been disclosed. Traces of grooves are visible in the stone, which proves that carts were moving along the road.
