Lua also called Lua Mater, Lua Saturni was an ancient goddess of war. She was associated with Saturn because she was identified with Ops , the consort of Saturn. In honour of the goddess, weapons obtained from enemies were offered and burned. Originally, it is believed that Lua was the goddess of ritual stain who was wished to be sent down on enemies.
