Ancient theater in Syracuse, Sicily. The theater was built on the slope of Temenita Hill. The object measures 138.6 m in diameter and is one of the largest of its kind in the world.
The theater was built in Greek times in the 5th century BCE, and its designer was Damacopos. The largest reconstruction took place in the 3rd century BCE during the reign of the Romans.
