Roman lady. Object found in Rome and dated back to 98-117 CE. Currently located in Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, Copenhagen (Denmark).

Roman glass painted goblet, dated back to 1st century CE. Found in Begram (Afghanistan).

Roman silvered-bronze S-shaped brooch. Dated back to II-V century CE.

Roman silver balsamarium with partial gilding, in shape of Janus head. Dated back to 2nd-3rd century CE.

Medusa’s head on a Roman mosaic. The object is located in a Roman villa in Bingor (southern England). The villa is known for its beautiful floor mosaics, which have survived in very good condition.

Wonderful Roman portrait showing two young men. The picture is made of gold and glass. The object dated to the 4th century CE was found in Bologna (Italy).

A dagger with a pair of gladiator’s greaves, made of bronze. Decorated with convex images of Jupiter (left) and Neptune (right). Pompeii from the 1st century BCE. The objects are located in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples.

Interesting Roman helmet with an eagle on top. The object is dated to the late II – early III century CE. These types of helmets were worn during official military parades.
