Marble bust of an elegant Roman woman from the middle of the second century CE.
The woman has wavy locks that covers her face. The hair is combed back, where it forms a bun. This hairstyle was fashionable for the times of Empress Faustina the Elder – wife of Emperor Antoninus Pius .
