A Roman lamp depicting a Gallic deity of Cucullatus (from cucullus – a hooded cloak) with a phallus. Object found in southern Burgundy (France) and dated to the 1st-3rd century CE.
To this day we do not know much about genius cucullatus. The statues were made of clay or stone.
