Roman ring belonging to 4th legion Flavia Felix. The object is dated from the 1st-2nd century CE.

The ring reads “LEGIIIIFF” ​​meaning Legio IIII Flavia Felix – literally “Happy Fourth Flavian Legion”.

This legion was founded in 70 CE by Vespasian. It included the remnants of the IV Macedonica legion. The branch was active until the 5th century CE in Upper Moesia (Moesia Superior).
