About 40 skeletons with their heads severed from Roman times have been discovered. According to researchers, the bodies were probably buried in an ancient cemetery dating back to 410 CE. The discovery was made during work on a new road in the village of Fleet Marston in the south of England. Probably the buried people had problems with the law and came from low social levels.
