On the outskirts of the city of Pontefract (northern England), in 2017, the remains of a Roman center were found.

Among other things, traces of the activities of the Roman-British inhabitants were discovered, including numerous remains of ceramics (bowls, jars used for cooking dishes). Antique ovens were also found, numbering 12.
