This post is also available in: Polish (polski)

Italy’s culture minister has ordered the search for a man who damaged Rome’s famous Colosseum in June by carving “Ivan + Hayley 23” into a stone.

A young man carved his and his girlfriend’s names with a key. His misdemeanor was recorded and can be found by the name “Asshole tourist carves name in Colosseum in Rome”.

The man has still not been identified. He faces a fine of at least 16,000 euros and a prison sentence of up to five years.
