Archaeologists have found an ancient pitcher under Roman road
In 2015, archaeologists from the University of Exeter, during excavations on a Roman road, discovered the remains of an ancient pitcher near Ipplepen, England.
The vessel was probably used to transport food (probably oil or wine from Rome to Britain. The find only confirms that scientists are conducting research in a historically rich region.
