Roman marble bust of emperor Hostilian. Dated to middle of 3rd century CE. Object located in The Vatican Museums in Rome.

Hostilian was the son of emperor Decius, who appointed his son as caesar. When in the battle of Abrittus in 251 CE Decius and older brother of Hostilian – Herennius Decius – died, power was taken over by Trebonianus Gallus, who became the father of Hostilian. Young caesar died as a result of plague in 251 CE.
