The Louvre Museum boasts one of the finest collections of ancient art in the world. If you have the opportunity to be in Paris on Saturday, it’s worth knowing that the Louvre Museum is organizing the so-called Nocturnes du Samedi on the first Saturday of the month.

The museum is open longer, until 9:45 PM, and additionally the admission is free from 6:00 PM until closing time. Please note that free admission does not guarantee viewing all collections and you have to reckon with even more visitors. Collections of ancient art are, however, available, and night tours can be an opportunity to see your favorite or most famous objects. The museum provides advertising video in which lovers of antiquity will certainly see known exhibits.

Evening sightseeing is also possible on Wednesday and Friday, on normal conditions.
