Knife handle with erotic elements

In 2008, David Barker found a bronze knife handle with erotic elements. The handle shows two men and a woman having a sexual act. This strange Roman specimen was found in Britain in Lincolnshire.

Interestingly, similar finds have been found all over Britain, but it is nevertheless a rare one. A lucky finder sold the find for about $ 1,500 to a museum in Lincoln.

The very name of the city of Lincoln comes from the Roman Lindum Colonia – that is, the settlement was founded around Fort Lindum.
