Reconstruction of the appearance of the Roman fortress in El-Lajjun (Jordan), which was created after the suppression of the Jewish Bar Kochba uprising in 135 CE.
The camp occupied an area of ​​approximately 12 acres; the defensive wall was 2.5 meters thick. The fortress had 20 semi-circular towers and a larger 4 corner towers. In the camp stationed legio IV Martia in the 4th century CE.
