Roman glassware found in the grave of a rich man in Himlingøje in present-day Denmark. Dated to 2nd – 3rd century CE.
The finds prove that the Romans traded with distant lands – that is, as in this case with the barbarians inhabiting the current island of Zealand in Denmark.
