Roman gold coin (aureus) showing Emperor Vespasian on one side and the Temple of Vesta with four columns and three statues on the other.
As suggested by researchers, the depiction of the temple may be intended to emphasize the renovation and reconstruction of the building after the fire in Rome in December 69 CE. The coin was founded in 73 CE and is housed in The British Museum.
