The latest excavations in Pompeii brought new discoveries. Researchers extracted 5 skeletons from the earth.
The bones belonged to two women and three children. The discovery was made in the house, on the wall of which the inscription was inscribed with charcoal. Based on the record, the researchers estimated that the eruption of Vesuvius could take place in October, not in August, as commonly thought.
According to the researchers, the dead people, during the time of the cataclysm, sought shelter in a small room in which they were either burned or crushed by a collapsed ceiling.
