Traces of 66 Roman encampments in northern Spain were discovered
Using remote sensing technology, scientists discovered dozens of Roman camps in northern Spain, at the foot of the Cantabrian Mountains, which served the Roman army for training and protection. Moreover, numerous aerial and satellite images were used.
Roman walls were discovered in south of Spain
In August this year, in the south of Spain, in the city of Almuñécar, the remains of a Roman wall, dating back to the 1st century CE, were discovered.
In south-east of England traces of Boudica uprising were found
In the south-east of England, in the village of Cressing, traces of roundhouses from the 1st century CE were found that scientists believe may have been destroyed by the Romans after the suppression of the Boudica uprising (61 CE).

Police in York (England) have released a camera video showing two men who stole from a store, incl. Roman jewellery.
Hundreds of shoes were found in Roman fort of Vindolanda
In the Roman fort of Vindolanda, more than 400 men’s, women’s and children’s size shoes were found. In total, more than 7,000 shoes from Roman times have been discovered at the excavation site, located in England between the rivers Tyne and Solway.
