In central Romania, in the town of Turda, archaeologists have discovered an unusual artifact, a bronze Roman box with a form resembling the facade of a Roman temple.
The artifact, over 1,700 years old, was discovered during a summer excavation. Although small—it could fit in the palm of your hand—it is in excellent condition. Researchers speculate that it may have served a religious purpose: storing incense, offerings, or other religious objects.
