Collaboration with “Ancient History Magazine”

I am pleased to inform you that IMPERIUM ROMANUM has established cooperation with the popular English-language monthly “Ancient History Magazine”. Every month, I will have the opportunity to read the content of the magazine, which keeps us informed about the latest archaeological research, discoveries and interesting information about ancient history; including, of course, ancient Rome. I will use the acquired knowledge to develop the website and write new content.

18th birthday of IMPERIUM ROMANUM!

I am pleased to announce that the website IMPERIUM ROMANUM is celebrating its eighteenth birthday today! When I started the first work on the website in 2004, I did not expect that I would be able to create such a huge compendium of knowledge about ancient Rome.

If you like the content that I collect on the website and that I share through social media channels, I will be grateful for buying me a coffee through In this way, everyone (without the need to register) can easily and quickly support my work. I will be very grateful for any help and motivation for further work!

Help translate IMPERIUM ROMANUM into English

As you probably know, I undertook an ambitious task – translating the Polish website into English so that knowledge will be available not only to Poles. The website has over 3300 entries, which have to be translated into English. What’s more, on average, each page counts about 2000 words. After conversion, huge costs come out, taking into account the rates of translators.

Dear visitors! Support IMPERIUM ROMANUM!

For over 10 years, the IMPERIUM ROMANUM portal exists and develops in order to have knowledge of the history of ancient Rome available to everyone. Access to the content is entirely free and I will never allow readers to be charged. I devote a lot of time and resources so that knowledge is shared and readers satisfied.

Finally… I took the decision to promote history of ancient Rome not only in Poland, but also all around the world! Therefore, I decided to open an account in Patreon.
