Reconstruction of a Roman house from the ancient city of Aquincum (now Budapest, Hungary) – the then capital of the province of Pannonia Inferior. It is believed that emperor Marcus Aurelius wrote in this city at least half of his “Meditations”.

Reconstruction of a Roman country estate in Britain from the 3rd century CE. The estate had, among others bathhouses with smoke coming out of the chimneys, which proves the high position of the owners. The complex was located in Priory Lake, in central England.

Reconstruction and comparison of Caesarea Maritima in ancient times and the modern world. Caesarea was once a prosperous ancient city that Herod the Great founded.

Reconstruction of the Gate of Mars – triumphal arch in Reims (Roman Durocortorum), France. The object is dated to the 3rd century CE and was the widest Roman arch.

Computer reconstruction of the theater in Leptis Magna, in present-day Libya. The building was built around the year 1-2 CE, but it was enlarged and decorated over the years. Finally, it could seat up to 16,000 spectators. The building was decorated with numerous sculptures, images of gods, emperors and rich citizens who co-financed the expansion of the place. Behind the stage structures have been particularly well preserved.

In 2012, Ryan McNaught built the first copy of the majestic Roman Colosseum from LEGO bricks.

Reconstruction of the image of Roman emperor Maximinus Thrax made by History in 3D. Maximinus Thrax reigned as emperor in 235-238 CE. He is considered the first barbarian who wore imperial purple.

Very interesting reconstruction of the Forum in Pompeii. It was a 38 x 157-meter square surrounded by a colonnade. Some porticos were rebuilt in later times by adding a second floor of columns. Next to the forum were public and cult buildings as well as market halls.

Amazing 3D animation showing the Roman imperial palace Felix Romuliana, in which the emperor Galerius resided (293-311 CE). The site was located near Zaječar, eastern Serbia – the Gamzigrad archaeological site.
