The world of ancient Romans abounded in a number of amazing curiosities and information. Roman tombstone and stone with a rare name – Sanctinius Exsuperatus. The objects were made of red sandstone and discovered southwest of the Roman fortress of Isca (today’s Caerleon, South Wales). Scientists date objects to the 1st-5th century CE.

Roman bust of the god Bacchus with a wreath of ivy and grapes on his forehead. Object dated to the 2nd century CE; found in Plora, Crete. The sculpture is in the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion.
